I have the SC2 beta for mac and I can't seem to be able to watch other people's replays. I can download them fine, but can't open them. There is no "replays" folder in my SC2 directory so I just have no idea where to put them. Anyone know what to do?

The replays folder for SC2 is in a different place compared to SC1. In SC1, the replays could be found under maps, which was found in the SC1 folder.
For SC2, the replays are found under the Replays in the Blizzard folder, which is found under documents.

found that

I found that file folder finally. However, when I download files they have the .rep extension and sc2 doesn't recognize them. If I change the extension to .SC2Replay like the replays that I have created by playing in games it says "unable to open replay".

What now?

id have to go home to check, but from memory -

as said above you have to put them in the Blizzard folder in Documents for your user account. also (again from memory), SC2Beta won't actually "see" the maps unless you put them inside one of the other folders in the hierarchy. I think I put my replays inside Recent or something like that (I think I left them in a subfolder so they'd stay sort of organized but maybe I dragged them out, I don't recall). Anyway basically once I had them in one of the preexisting folders I could access them from SC2Beta.

One thing that happens is if the replays are from a diff point release, SC2B will prompt you to restart the game, so it can load up the version of the beta necessary to play back that particular replay. Bit tedious but at least we -can- view old replays.

After you place them in the proper folder, you're supposed to launch the game & there should be an area for you that will allow you to watch replays (yours included).

I remember being confused because I tried to open it myself & it didn't work. I had to sign in my account & then play it.
