I am trying to obtain 64-bit software for a ScanSnap ix500.

"ScanSnap Home" is supposed to be the 64-bit replacement program for older 32-bit software, but the Fujitsu download page does not show the program (or any other downloads compatible with Mac OS Catalina).

Some have recommended trying Vuescan but I see no 64-bit download on their site either.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to use this scanner with Mac OS Catalina.

Thanks in advance.

Roosevelt.

Any of you guys manage to get ix500 to work with Catalina? I'm trying with ScanSnap Home 1.4.1 which is 64-bit but can only scan via USB. Wireless simply won't work even though I'm scanning wireless phone via my iPhone with their iOS app.

Thanks.

I have an S1300I and had to remove the scanner in the settings and let it redetect it. Took a while for me to figure it out. Has been working fine since.

I'm using an ix500 with the Scansnap software, and I'm doing so wirelessly. No problems as far as I can tell - the only one annoyance was needing to grant whole-disk access to ScanSnap Home before I could do anything.

Regarding wireless functionality, I set up wireless functionality in Mojave, so if there's an issue with wifi scanning and you're sure it was working before, maybe the setup process is broken in Catalina.

Hi,

Was it in this window?

Same. Working perfectly here carried over from Mojave.
