Second day in a row where my iPhone 7 Plus has gotten so hot for no reason.

Earlier I did not even use it, no apps left open and I was at the movies (enjoying cars getting blown up) and all of the sudden i felt my pocket getting really hot and i pulled out the iPhone and it was burning up.

I turned it off for about 2 minutes and now its been fine since.

Anyone else having had this happen?

Edit: also the weather cannot be it since it is almost +3 in freakin April outside!

I was having heat problems with my 7Plus after 5 months. They replaced it almost immediately. They said they want to test it out and see if anything is faulty.

When I first got mine it literally did the same thing a couple of times. Twice it did it with just being in my pocket & another when I was just listening to music (stored music on phone not streaming).

I took it to the Apple Store & they did all these tests & didn't find anything wrong with it. They basically said it was the music app that was acting up. They did a hard reset & that was it.

Oddly enough, it hasn't done it ever since.

My first iPhone 6s Plus was running hot in anywhere, even in air conditioned train, when using any app, light or heavy. It was absolutely abnormal. Went to Apple Store and they offered a replacement. So far so good and nothing abnormal again.

Aside from being offered a replacement iPhone as others have suggested, have you gotten the warning or indicator on your phone that your iPhone is getting hot?

It'll be fine, Apple's warranty is global. They'll definitely be able to help you. :)

Nope. I am very much content with my 7 plus. The heating issue was with 5, that too used to happen when I had 4G LTE on, using snapchats or other heavy apps.

This one is clean and never ever get heated.
