Scared to hack, should I hack or not?

Hello all,
Well I have a 16gb Itouch and I just bought the Iphone and I would rather not try to hack the Iphone and just use my older Itouch as a toy to hack.

What do you think? What website should I use to hack it?

I am going to look for some youtube videos but wanted to ask people on this forum first.
I don't want to screw up my Itouch because it's still like new but I don't need it anymore or use it anymore because I have the Iphone.
