Scarlett 2i2 gen 1 vs gen 2

Sirs and Madams,

I have a Scarlett 2i2 gen 1, and have ordered a new iMac (5k 2017). I wonder whether

1. I shall see a lot less round trip latency when recording (voice, electric guitarr (using amplifier simulators in GarageBand/Logic Pro X). This compared to MBP 15", mid 2010.
2. it would make a significant improvement if I upgraded to generation 2 of the Scarlett audio interface. (If I did upgrade, I would propably get a 2i4 or 6i6.)
3. there is a cheap way to get 2 head phone outputs from the 2i4/2i2.
4. I can send separate listening mixes to the 2 headphone outputs in 6i6 i Logic Pro X.
