i had the statue of liberty background on my lock screen. I turned off and rebooted my phone and no there is a sad iphone wallpaper on my lockscreen.

I unlocked and got a message saying my springboard crashed. There was a reset button and now things seem fine, but that worried me. Is it normal?

Hey V,

Welcome to the jailbreak community. That's common for the iPhone to experience a CRASH on occasion, but just tap the restart button and you should be good to go. This JB has had fewer crashes than previous JBs, and the really bad thing about crashes, is that you have to reset your icons....:eek::eek:

ha thanks buddy... this is all so scary! I hate tampering with my beautiful iPhone

Been there, done that. Yeah, the first time I saw it, I was just upset that I had to move my icons around again, and posted as you did only to be reassured that it was quite common back in the day. I had the pawnge JB on my v1 iPhone and that must have crashed 4-6 times a day, so once every 10 days seems OK by me...:p

I was making some changes to my theme last night and installed Glass Orb Color, thinking I'd go in and delete all of the icons except the dock icons because that was all I wanted. Did that, checked it in Winterboard, and then when the phone went to restart, it suddenly started vibrating all over the place and making all kinds of noise, with this woman's voice saying, "Welcome to the new dawn!" or something to that effect. I about had an effin' stroke. I thought somehow I'd completely ****ed my iPhone and that this was how it was dying, like how in movies when computers get hacked, they always manage to fail with the laughing skull & crossbones and dramatic crap like that.

I didn't realize that Glass Orb Color came with a sound effects package as well.
