Anyone expériences this? It’s definitely new in iOS 12.

I have a simple scheduled DnD from 11p-6a, some nights when I’m staying up I’ll turn it off manually after it turns on at 11p.

With iOS12, I’ll turn on my phone some time later, and DND has been turned back on. What gives?

How are you turning it off? Do you also use Bedtime feature in the Clock app?

Yes, I do use Bedtime and it is set for the same hours as the scheduled DnD.

When I turn it off, I typically just do it through control center.

Any connected devices (like a watch or something else like that)?

I'm wondering if somehow either Bedtime and/or another device might be playing a factor in it all.

When this happens are your seeing the DND half moon icon? I am experiencing DND activating randomly throughout the day on my 7 plus, but without the DND icon. Definitely new to ios12. Also have a watch.

File a bug report, many are having the same issue
https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/

P.S. I filed one just now, but I don't think they will help me if I don't attach any log.

Either way I recommend that anyone reading me create a bug report, the more people do it the more are the chances of them fixing in the next iOS. And if the problem is still there you may be able to create a log for them.

There is a “Turn on Do not disturb” option under Options in the Bedtime app that may be conflicting with your manual DND setting. Have you checked that?

The DnD option associated with Bedtime is turned OFF. At this point, I'm thinking it has to be a bug, because there's no real discernible pattern as to when/why it turns itself back on.

Same is still happening to me too :(
