In one of my classes, Tech Lab, we have to create a music management company (Not a real one). My teacher wanted a flyer for our company and this is what I made. I know that the name of the company is weird but "Gr" is the first two letters for my partner's last name and "Ad" is the first two letters of mine.

1.) first get rid of drop shadows
2.) second get rid of these gradients
3.) get rid of any effect, that distract from the main thing: recognizing your "music management company"
4.) you used outlined text under Grad Freq for the "music management". Sadly it is unreadable
6.) get yourself away from the computer, get a paper and pencil and write down the words, that you can think for a music management compay
7.) make a selection of two-three words and try these words to visualize
8.) also use the paper and pencil, to make a sketch for the banner, for the company logo etc
9.) if (!) you are satisfied with the end result, go to your computer and make the final finishing

Excellent advice.

I'll add that you should design in black & white first, because if it works in b&w, you'll know you have a clear logo that should work even better with a well thought out colour or 2.
