Daily Mail? Really?

If you add it all up, these scientists say everything causes cancer. A third of people will get cancer in their lifetime, so beyond obvious correlations like heavy smoking, it’s far too broad to pin down to tiny specifics. I’m goddamn sick of reading articles about what causes cancer.

Don’t drink alcohol at all, or you’ll increase the risk of cancer. But make sure you drink one glass of wine a day, because if you don’t, you increase the risk of cancer.

Bacon increases the risk of cancer. Or maybe it doesn’t. Depends on how the whitecoat hack is feeling for their tumour-of-the-day musings.

Anyway, I read the article. It basically boiled down to “we can’t prove anything and there’s no correlation. But it can’t be good to wear wireless earphones, right? Therefore cancer.”

This is the problem in today's age of instant communication. People read a headline and don't read the actual information. The petition the article discusses is from 2015 and it doesn't state that cell phones and bluetooth cause cancer, it simply says that we don't know yet if it's linked and we should study it more.

There's a thread on here where a guy claimed his air pods caused a severe ear infection and he goes on to say he'll never use bluetooth again. He also says he had them in for 7 to 8 hours a DAY!! Was it the bluetooth or was it having something jammed into your ear canal for hours that caused the problem?

"A great deal more research needs to be done to clarify the exact risks associated with each kind of EMF, but the petitioning scientists believe that our current use of these technologies throws caution dangerously to the wind and they want to hould regulators accountable."

End message, try to use common sense.
