Surely this was a nice app before but now with the update , that is pending and has been submitted to the app store it is even better. Now there's global highscores! =] It is probably going to be my 2nd fav app, after Appigo ToDo[review on my site]. I got to beta test/review SciFly: DogFight and it really was pleasure. Theres going to be a review on my site later today, it's a long one to right; and I got to go =]

Yeah, I can't wait until the 1.3 update, it'll have a new plane, torch with a flamethrower, if you guys want to throw out some ideas on another new one, I could let him know about the idea, and he could probably put it in.

This is potentially a good game with excellent graphics, which is in principle simple to play, but it can easily become boring. There are few enemy aircraft and they zip by. There seems to be little speed control, and because the ground view is two dimensional, crashing is a common experience.

how do you say that crashing is a common experience; I crash proably once every 3 rounds...

it does have excellent graphics doesn't it. Everything's in 3D, so that's why it crashes a lot, if that's what you mean by crashes.

What I mean is that I crash the plane frequently. The ground seems to be in 2D, so that I can't tell how far down I am and consequently I crash.

Also, I can't undestand how in the timed setting one can shoot down eight enemy planes if one only sees one or two of them at best!

well I can answer how in time trial you get 8 kills, in fact one round I got about 75!

Well idk if this is in 1.1 but in 1.2 after you kill someone you get some more time, I've gotten it up to 3 minutes

I just got another update from the dev; it now has ship upgrades. You can upgrade your ship, and it isn't supposed to crash at all anymore, so we'll see =]

From where are you getting Version 1.2? I have 1.1, which is what is being sold on itunes.

I suppose I'm doing something wrong in the game. I'll just have to practice more. I see that it's potentially a very good game.

Well, first of all 1.2 is a beta version, it (i think) has been submitted for review.

Yeah, I'm doing just fine, it just takes practice and patience to conquer the game

well, at first what kept happening to me is that I would keep getting shot down and never see anyone else(maybe this is your problem) but now, I figured out, all you have to do is turn directly around, backward and you should start seeing them, I usually go in circles before I find somebody

It's certainly improved the game. I even won a Time Attack the other day, although only at the recruit level. At least I see enemy aircraft now and then.
