Let me start out by saying that I've owned the iPhone 3G, 4S, 5, 5s, 6, 6s, and now 7.

I have never once had a scratch on my device until today. I looked at my 7 Plus and saw a line on my screen that is perfectly straight and runs parallel with the long way of the phone!

I can feel this line with my finger which leads me to believe that is indeed a scratch on the display.

I keep my phone in my front pocket and NEVER put it with anything else. So this came as a complete shock to me. However, I do understand that micro scratches still happen from lint, etc. But this is no micro scratch.

I just found it strange how the line is perfectly straight and parallel. Is this because of some sort of defect or something going wrong with the display? Or is this just sheer bad luck?
