One of my family's macs (our second... the first is an SE/30 and it is working like a dream still) is a white intel imac. There are some scratches in the case and since the clear plastic seems pretty thick I can't help but wonder if there is a way to buff out, polish, or fill the scratches. Anybody got any ideas? Also, it is starting to feel a little sluggish (compared to how it used to feel), and I was wondering if anybody had any tips for getting this thing running at full speed again. It isn't snow leopard yet, just the non-snow variety, so that will probably help, but is there anything else? On windows one can defrag the disk and crap like that... anything like that on the mac? I can't stand to have things that aren't like or better than new
