Among the starlings
To all you heavy-duty Photoshop and Illustrator users out there:

On a desktop, it's pretty easy to install an extra internal drive for scratch space. But with a laptop, you're stuck with either the primary drive or an external on a port that might make it slower to access than the internal.

What do you use as your scratch disk?

I use the internal SSD but been paying with an idea in my head to get a SSD that fits into the express card slot.

I am interested in this as well, I just recently learned about running dual drives to boost performance, and need a laptop, for portability, but want to know more about running an extra disk.
