Scratched Speck cover from Premium Reseller

I have bought Speck cover for my MBP 2017 13 inch.

It is new one, but it has marks. Is it normal for this this producent?

I know that it is cover and it is only for security, but it is very strange to have such a things from a start of usage.

I have a Speck matte black cover for my late 2013 13" Pro and Speck matte grey for an early 2015 Air. Both were BNIB and in perfect condition.

Was the box sealed when you received the cover? If not, it may be a customer return.

Yes it was. Asked shop if it was a return anyway.

To be honest, I can't think when you will have to look at the bottom anyway. If I were that OCD, I would ask to get a replacement but it's a case in the end, that's what its purpose is.

And it's a production defect. Not uncommon for accessories to be scratched and etc.

I do not have OCD.No one looks for scratches on cover. I only asked if someone also have it. I think it is because of low cost product and plastic forms.

Tomorrow I will try exchange get replacement. It is new and it is not for 10 $.
