So i got the new 12.9 inch M2 iPad Pro some time ago.

now I just tried to clean the back a little and found the Apple logo has tons of micro-scratches. They’re very shallow and only visible through certain lightning condition But nevertheless annoying on a new expensive device

my Macbook pro and old iPad Pro (2018 11”, Which I still keep) never had this problem, my old ipad went everywhere with me, I even dropped it more than once, and still the Apple logo in the back is pristine, while the new iPad is always kept in a Smart Folio and a sleeve.did they change the material or anything or is it normal for ipads to arrive like that?

Brand new iPad Pro doesn't come with any case if you buy from Apple obviously, so it is not quite normal.
Though tbh, I'd just live with it if I were you unless I am still within 14 days return window and have the time to do so. Scratched Apple logo won't bother me much if at all during normal use.

The glossy Apple logo is going to attract surface scratches just by looking at it. Thankfully they’re only visible under bright lighting when viewed at certain angles.

I find that strange, because my previous iPad and my MacBook Pro have none of these, and I hade My previous iPad for over 3 years…

Me too, I only use the other side of the screen (the side without the shiny logo).

"Some time ago" is longer than 14 days?

indeed it is longer than 14 days. But even If I would have found out earlier, i wouldn’t want to be sucked into the black hole of replacements for something that might be common.
