screen cleaner making screen blurry? advice please!

So I have this computer cleaning product called OmniCleanz

and it comes with a nice little cloth and stuff, however, after cleaning the screen (spraying on the cloth and wiping) it leaves a little I don't know - residue?

Is there a way to maybe clean the cloth or something, maybe that's a little dirty?

Is there a better screen/computer cleaner out there for my macbook pro? thanks hope to hear some awesome advice!

I remember getting frustrated when I first tried a couple of screen and plastic-lens cleaning products on my PowerBook screen, only to find that they wouldn't wipe up clean -- there would be a very slight blotching or streaking that was visible.

I finally used the Monster iClean product (picked it up in an Apple Store) with the included microfibre cloth and I swear by it. Seriously. I don't fully understand why. I had tried other solutions and micro-fibre cloths -- maybe it's the cloth, I dunno. I use other microfibre cloths that are smoother for my eyeglasses etc., and the Monster cloth, while still micro-fibre, is almost like terry-cloth in the way it is woven.

the cloth seems to be the same kind of cloth that they use for camera lenses...could that be it? It seems kind of dirty now, i'm nut sure the best way to go about cleaning it either - maybe that's why it's blurring/streaking?

You can machine wash and dry microfibre cloths -- no big deal. Just avoid any softener (from either the dryer or softener) and make sure they are rinsed well. Alternatively, a quick hand-washing will work too.

Microfibre cloths will absorb oils and trap other dirt -- so they do need to be cleaned.
