I've tried various things to keep my iMac screen clean. Damp cloths, specialized computer screen wipes. The lot. But nothing keeps my mac free of smudges & dust.

Anyone any suggestions? Or anyone wishing to share their tactics upon the challenging task of screen cleaning?

Cheers!

I also recommend the Monster Screen Cleaner. I bought it for my LCD with a shiny screen and it works great for the iMac. It also comes with a very nice cleaning cloth, much better in my opinion than the one the computer came with.

I have seen screen cleaners for monitors with isopropyl alcohol and others tout 'No Alcohol'.

A HDTV salesman told me that the non-alcohol screen cleaners had "silicone polymers in it to fill in tiny scratches."

On one page, Apple recommends a damp cloth. In another place, Apple recommends iKlear.

I'm more confused than before.

Any help is appreciated here, too.
