iPhone Screen darkening. Help?

I Jailbroke my iPhone 5 on iOS 6. Everything was smooth at first until last night. My screen slowly darkens every minute or so and then I have to bump up the brightness. This is happening all day. Any ideas?

What Cydia packages do you have installed?

try to recalibrate your brightness settings
- go in a dark room
- disable the auto switch in the brightness section in the settings app
- slide the brightness button all to the left (lowest)
- reenable the auto switch

I have issues with auto brightness too. It is opposite of expected behavior. Goes too dim in bright light and way too bright in darkness. I've just turned auto brightness off for now.
