Alright Guys,

Just got my 14 Pro Max, haptic keyboard isn’t as strong as the 13 Pro Max but anyway that’s not the showstopper . . .

Has anyone else noticed the right and left edges (the very edge of the screen) of the display are no longer as touch sensitive as the previous phones?

Ran the screen test in Phone Doctor and it basically confirmed the edge 1mm of the screen is nowhere near as sensitive as on the previous phone.

Is this just a faulty phone or is this how they all are now?

Thanks

I was using a regular 12 before my 14 PM. I've noticed that the sides seem more sensitive than what I was used to with the 12 regular. When attempting to use one handed, I've triggered a part of the screen accidentally with a finger that is supporting or cradling the phone rather than my thumb.

That’s the opposite to me.

I’ve also found the screen doesn’t sometimes register touches where my older phone would have and I’m not sure why.

Maybe this unit is just faulty then
