Sorry if this has been covered already, but has anyone noticed the change of "Screen saver" to "Screen Effects" in the Jaguar System Preferences app? Also, can anyone confirm if the below SpyMac image is real?

It will probably load slowly.

it looks plausible enough.

and i like the idea of having prefs for the various hub features. the idea of burning a cd based on some preset that you can't change (as far as i know, but i've never used the built in finder burning) doesn't seem good.

i can't confirm (sorry) whether it's real or not but it looks like it would be a good thing, in my opinion.

Yeah, screenshots of the individual preference panes would be a nice thing :)

But my point is, may they have included options to turn off transparency etc. since it changed to "Effects"?

That would be a nice thing!

interesting idea.... but given the fact that it's the same icon as the current screen saver one... i wouldn't bet on that YET.

give it time. we'll see.... and maybe someone who's a developer around here will let us know as they get a chance to use the beta jaguars...

Inkwell does not have to be in the system settings. It is an application just like imovie. And I don't belive imovie as settings in the control panel.

No. Ink is a System utility...and in the video on ZDNet the guy turned it on/off via the System Prefs panel.

iChat snapshots online

Nope, not fake.
They just posted like a gazillion others. Also, I don't think this has been mentioned, but there are a few iChat photos up over their too(SpyMac, that is)

See my quote from above:

It's missing the "Ink" item which was demoed at WWDC.

Spymac puts up fake stuff all the time...

Really.. like what? I know they did at first with the iWalk, but what else? I can also think of the closet G5 thing, but that was "reader mail", and both of those were pretty much in the first month or so.

Anyway, Just because it doesn't have an inkwell means nothing. Look at all the Jaguar pictures, the search field is SQUARE. On Apple.com it is round. It must be fake then

Go here: http://www.zdnet.com/

The link is on the right side, halfway down, titled "Jobs dips into Inkwell for OS X"

Watch it and then come back and say the screenie is still real...

Besides the missing "Ink" option, the whole "Digital Hub" section is jacked up.

Are there anymore movie clips from the keynote?

Those are the only ones I've found so far...

How dare ZDnet show the clips only in WM and RP formats!
