I have a 65" Samsung MU8000 hooked up to a Klipsch RSB-11. I run the cables in wall from a cabinet to the sound bar on the mantle, then in wall to the TV above it. When I hook up the Apple TV, the screen immediately begins flashing. It sometimes sorts itself out (I haven't figured out how) and will work fine until the ATV goes to sleep. When it comes back out of sleep, screen's flashing again and I can't get it to stop without power cycling.

The ATV is the new $150 model - MR912LL/A. It is not a 4k model.

I suppose, it could be an HDMI issue. Unfortunately, I put Home Depot HDMI cables in my wall. They're 1.4 cables (10.2 gbps). I did run some conduit, and I could fish a new cable through the wall, but it would be a huge pain as it would require I pull the panel off the wall. The cables seem to pass 1080p from other devices just fine. This really seems like a problem with the ATV. However, I moved the ATV to a 10 year old Sony receiver and 55" LCD in our bonus room and it's working fine (of course, at 1080p).

Thoughts on how I get this working on the new kit?

I had this issue with my Xbox when I got the One. Really frustrating. If you have't figured it out yet, try downscaling the signal from 1080p to 1080i or 720P.

Is this issue only happening ont he ATV, or is it also happening with BluRays or anything else?
