i have a mid 2015 a1398 mbp 2.6ghz 16gb 512gb radeon m370. screen glitches randomly, restarting/reseting smc helps temporarily. works perfectly in BootCamp. any ideas?

I was about to say it looks like hardware failure, but you mentioned it works fine in bootcamp. So I am now assuming OSX and its driver are not playing nice. I don't know if there is a way to reinstall just the display driver or if there is a driver to download out there.

i did recently replace the display cable, I'll reattach it to make sure. it worked fine for a while though. I'll look into drivers, if I cant find anything upgrading to newest macos could help.

Did you DIY the cable replacement or had it serviced? Me thinks that's the issue and perhaps there is a "pairing" for the cable that must happen for OSX to play nice.
huh. yeah i did it myself since i thought it would be pretty low risk. that would make sense except for the BootCamp thing. I'll try to more carefully take it out and put it back in case
