I've had one screen replaced on my 16" 2021 MBPro for a small black dot appearing after about 11 months of use in the middle of the screen. Apple said it was a small crack and initially I would have to pay (no AppleCare), however on collection they covered under the 12 month warranty (thank you Apple!).
I have now had the new screen for 2 weeks - and there is already a really tiny black dot appearing in one part of the screen. I also note there is a small indentation or scratch over the dot. There is nothing obvious within the clamshell causing damage.
It's so tiny to be a non-issue at the moment (and I now have AppleCare+ after the new screen), but I wonder if this is a known issue / vulnerability with the new 2021 model screens?
