Having not found a solution to a problem I'd experienced a while back, I wondered if anybody would be able to assist with diagnosing the issue. I was using my iMac as normal, but out of nowhere the display turned slightly blue and started flickering, until the point where I could no longer see any of the screen. I'm doubtful that this can be rectified without repair, but just wondered if anybody had experienced the same issue and if they had any ideas on the next steps to take? I've attached an image of what it looks like for reference.
I have bought a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Cable to connect and test with an external monitor and it works fine. I'm hoping this will allow me to at least use the iMac for the time being.
