I've seen the defect some MBA rev. B had with their screen. The "lines" affecting a lot of the screens of this revision of the air. But I have myself having the same issue but not on a MBA, my own Unibody Macbook. I've found this while I was playing under Boot Camp, and it is affecting the two OSes, so that's really an hardware issue. It's right there on the lower part of the screen.

How did you deal with the issue, MBA users? Should I ask for a new screen? Does anybody got their screen repaired because of this issue? (My computer is already 3 months old and I've gone through a repair already, so no replacement for me).

My Macbook is flawless under both OSX and bootcamp. I don't think the lines in the lower corner are normal. Mine definitely doesn't have them. If it's easy to reproduce I'd suggest taking it in and showing it to them. I'm sure they haven't seen many machines like that so it should register as abnormal.

For the MBA it varies, some people have got it replaced, but allot of have just gotten the "it's within spec" bs.

but like tubby said, it's not a common problem on the macbooks, so maybe you'd have a better chance.

Sorry I wrote wrong. I have macbook air which is 9C90 model and C2486D00 date. The line is very thin but its annoying. I didn't buy from apple store. How can I change it?

It shouldn't matter that you didn't buy it from the apple store, the warranty will still be the same. Of course if you just got it maybe you can just return it and get another one with a chance at ending up with a lineless one.

Otherwise just bring it to the apple store and hope for the best.

I bought at UK but I'm in Turkey now. Unfortunately, Macbook Air rev B doesn't sell here and they don't accept repair because of I bought from UK. I don't know what I can do?

Seriously, I don't know now, it does not bother me, and it does not cover the entire screen. More trouble then gain IMO. I'm selling this Mac anyway and I don't want to go through another repair.
