Does anyone know or can point me towards some information on screen mirroring on the iPhone and iPods? I'm trying setup a system with a projector that I can use to demo software on a big screen. I'm going to be pairing it up with the AAXA P1 Pico Projector:

I understand that screen mirror is currently considered a hack and is still under development. Are there any updates on this or any news of Apple supporting this feature in the future? It's one of the few things that the Zune and PSP offer that Apple doesn't.

Any info would be appreciated!

Can anyone recommend any specific hacks that will work for this application?

Well, i know if you jailbreak, then you can put the veency server on your iphone and a vnc client on your PC, and project your iphone screen to your PC. Not exactly what you're asking, but close.

I have not checked if there are official vnc servers for the phone released now on app store, maybe someone can say....

Nope, no official Apple ones.

However, there is a Cydia-based VNC Server for iPhone OS called "Veency." I've used it before, and found it to be pretty handy for showing my iPhone onscreen. Unfortunately, it updates somewhat slow, but it is free...

I think I found the Veency one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1w9L4qC928

Actually I'm looking for something that works "kinda" in reverse... where I'm still using the iPod as the user interface but everything shown on the iPod screen is outputted to the AAXA P1.

Actually I'm looking for something that simply outputs video and doesn't need a data connection. Someone has suggested an app called ScreenSpltr from Cydia, but it's somewhat laggy. Anyone have any experience with it on a 3GS yet?
