I just got my week 31 build MBP 15 inch glossy but i noticed the screen is not as sharp as my e1505 dell screen. The resolution is higher on the dell though, at 1650x1200 vs the apple one which is a little lower. Is this normal or do i have a bad screen? Its a samsung btw.

Alright, as long as it its normal i guess its fine. The screen on the dell was amazing! Everything else on the MBP blows it away though. We can't have everything, right?

ahh that kind of sucks, especially if your old dells screen is noticeably better than your new MBP. But the old dell did not have a glossy finnish rite? And like you said, we cant have everything...

I have seen quite a few posts where people says that the 15.4" mbp got blurry screens, may I ask if this is matte or glossy? Maybe glossy is sharper.

What do you think about the glossy scren you just got? I ordered a glossy as well...should be delivered in 10 days but sometime i really think about changing my order to matte with all negative stuff i have been reading about glares....i never had a glossy screen and could not find one on display in the stores...

Even on a bright and sunny day at starbucks I can see the detail just fine on my glossy. Then when the sun goes down the glossy really shows its true colors. Lets see a matte do that! Glossy all the way. Look at basically every other "ultrabright" screen on the market, all glossy.

Dont get me wrong, the screen is not crap, its just not AS sharp as my last dell, thats because the dell had an upgraded, higher resolution screen. Both screens are glossy though.
