I've had an AppleTV for a while now, and its recently begun to annoy me because its off center on my screen. Its connected via HDMI to my Yamaha RX-V663 7.1 receiver, which is connect to my TV via HDMI to DVI Apple cord. Everything works great, but its slightly off center, its like the AppleTV picture is larger then my tv (ie it looks like I'm missing things on the left side of the screen). This is really obvious when browsing purchasable or rent-able movies. Any suggestions?

If your TV doesn't have a means to nudge the picture, you may have a case of overscan. My old Mitsubishi RPTV has this problem. However, my new Samsung LCD allows me to nudge the picture.
You may be able to adjust the overscan, but you'd most likely need to be able to access the "service screen" for that particular TV model (but you REALLY need to know what you are doing in THAT screen.)

See I'm not sure I want to nudge the picture though, my reciever also has my DISH DVR connected using HDMI and that picture isn't off-center at all. It's just the AppleTV. Its not a problem when watching a movie cause I can't tell what I'm missing, but because it chops letters off words in the menu's, it becomes obvious. Maybe I'll look at the TV menu again though, just to make sure.
You might want to tell us what type of TV you have.
Also, can you connect AppleTV HDMI to the HDTV then optical audio out of the HDTV to the Yamaha receiver?
The problem you are having has to do with the DVI. The DVI on HDTVs doesn't always work the same (1:1 pixel mapping) as the DVI on computer monitors. This has been documented for years on AVSforums and the like.
