Screen problem.... dark colors show cloudy line on screen

When I have a dark colors on my screen there is a smudgy/cloudy line right across the middle of my screen.... it is about 5 inches long and about 2 mm thick. At first I thought maybe it was just a smudge on the glass outside, but I turned off my computer to clean the screen and didn't see the line there anymore..

Could there be a smudge on the inside ? or do you think it could be a screen color issue?

I have only had this macbook for a month....




Any one has any ideas of what could be going on?

hard to say without seeing it, but it sounds like a screen fault. I'd get it looked at if I were you

yeah I can't see it when looking at a something light colored like this forum, but when looking at something dark (like a dark scene in a movie) the screen has a little smudgy line...
