I have the last 15" PB. I turned it on tonight, and their are a bunch of little dots on the screen. They are all under and below the finder icon on the tool bar. I thought it might be dead pixels, but it looks like it is behind the screen. They look like they are a darker color of blue than the rest of the screen. There are about 20 of them and some of them are clustered. Any one have any idea what this is?? Am i just crazy?

I just moved a white screen down to that corner. The dots are all black now. Dead pixels???

I tried that and nothing. Still the same. Thanks though

I have not bumped it at all. I baby my PB. I have apple care, I guess that I should contact them. Any suggestions???

You might as well just take it into an Apple store...it's why you paid for AppleCare :). If the pixels change color with the windows (it's easy for your eyes to deceive you here, so look carefully), you might have something in the display. Are the dots arranged corresponding to pixel locations (i.e. do they line up horizontally or vertically with some of the other dots)?

well theyare sending me a box. The apple care rep tried everything to get the pixels unstuck. It did not work. I really hope this does not take to long. I will be computerless while they have my pb.
