Screen problems

Hi,

My screen gets distorted with a blueisch color and vertical straight lines.
Restarting seemed to get it back to normal but now it keeps getting worse...any idea what could be the problem?

13", 15" or 17"? The 15" and 17" has GPU problems. There was a recall/repair for it but that has long since lapsed. That is most likely the cause of your screen errors if you have an affected machine. There are a few threads here, on Apple and videos on YouTube about this. Here is one such thread,
