Screen Protection size 1g and 2g

I have the 1g touch but getting a 2g this week I have a few screen protectors left over from the 1g. Will the 1g protectors fit the same on the
2g. Or is there a slight difference and I have to buy protectors for the 2g only.

I bought the Griffin Touch Care Kit (set of 5) for the 1G. It works for the 2G touch except that it's 1mm short on top. I don't have a 1G so I don't know if there is a size difference between the 2 screens.
