I've never used a screen protector on my previous iPads. My last one was the 9.7 pro. The screen was immaculate after all these years.

Is it wise to use one? Does it affect the pencil?

Thanks.

If you didn't have a problem before, why are you worried about it now?

Screen protectors may offer more drag for the pencil, and some people want this. However, on all devices, they seem more of a hassle and of lower quality than the glass on the iDevice already, so I skip them. My 2015 ipad was naked all this time and is still fine.
