Hey All - Just bought two iMacs on eBay (accidentally won both auctions, going to sell one). Is there a way to tell if I got a bad/good screen before opening one of the boxes? Are the 20" inch iMacs even known for having poor quality LCDs?

When I bought my MBP there was some yellowing issue going around and only MBPs with LG screens didn't have it. I was wondering if there were any similar issues with the iMac and if I should be looking for a certain panel.

My iMac model # is MB323LL/A. TIA!

I think they've all been fairly consistent, unlike the 24" panels.

All the 20" ones have a slight gradient top to bottom, but I don't notice anymore.

What are the serial numbers on the boxes? You're best off keeping the newest probably.
