My MBP has the uneven lighting in the screen. The right side is darker than the left. I have Apple Care, but really it dosen't bother me all too much. What does bother me is that i cannot seem to get the screen bright enough in general for my liking. I know i can press F2 to make sure it is all the way up...is there anything else i can do? Thanks for your time fellas..

Does it warm up any or is it constantly dark.

It dosen't really seem to warm up and get brighter. My vision is 20/25, not too bad, but i see no real difference between when i first turn it on and an hour later. That maybe because im in front of it that whole time.. Is there a setting or a program that allows me to fine tune the display?

The problem is not the screen but the backlight, it has 2 bulbs, left and right, and one side is not lighting. The only solution is to get the light fixed.

Ahh.. Well that pretty much settles that then. Thanks for the quick info.
