I will be new to Mac soon as my old "COW" (Gateway) pc will wear itself out...
I do the normal things such as email, surfing..etc...
I also do photo editing for commercial micro photo sales...
My question is..... Can I get by with the 21.5" with the 1920x1080 resolution or will the 27" 2560x1440 be a better choice, is it worth the extra bucks??

Note... I don't do any gaming... (I'am an old fart)
Thanks,
Bob

I personally would go with the 27 inch screen and the 2560x1920 resolution. When it comes down to it, it's doing the everyday things like photo editing and web surfing that you'll enjoy the most on a larger screen. With 2560x1440 resolution, you can comfortably navigate two full-sized webpages right next to each other, and even have some room on the side for IM application windows.

IMO it's definitely worth it but 1920x1080 is more than fine for everyday tasks. Go to a store and take a look
