I would appreciate any solution in activating Screen Saver in XP running under latest Boot Camp. Situation is as follows:

1. New iMac 24/2.33/3GIG/500/7600
2. latest version of Boot Camp successfully installed
3. latest XP Pro successfully installed (yes it recognizes 3GB)
4. wireless keyboard and mouse work

On selecting power saving/screen saver in Control Panel (for any number of minutes), the Screen Saver simply will not activate.

I have tried:

1. Turning both wireless mouse and keyboard off
2. Using a Apple wired mouse and keyboard
3. covering ISight with dark tape
4. rebooting frequently

None of the preceding four steps resolve the problem.

Does anybody have a solution? THANKS!

(FYI: I have a previous generation 17” Intel Imac using previous generation Boot Camp with XP without any Screen Saver problems)
