so my screen saver changed to a default screensaver since updating to 11.2.. my previous screensaver was a folder in the iCloud photos.. how do I change this back because I can't figure out how?? any help is appreciated

thanks for the link.. I just talked with AppleCare actually, they said after an update it will default to the generic screensavers until the OS times out/goes to sleep for the first time after being signed in and then the settings you(the user) set should come right back.. kinda weird but ok 😀

You need to run the Photos app first because the app has some updates it needs to make to your photo library before the library can be used as a screensaver source.
