I usually find myself leaving the iPad continuously ON, playing my music albums or while doing homework on my computer for quick searches or so on it. It means my display sees a lot of stationary images in the majority of it. I wonder, how propense are these devices to ghost images?

I have an Air 3

Thanks!

Speaking from personal experience here. One of my businesses is a tattoo and body piercing studio and I use my old iPads as artist portfolio kiosks in the front of the shop for prospective clients to browse through. Currently I have four of them, one being an Air 2, one is an original Air, and the other two are the fifth generation iPads from two years ago. These machines have their screens on continuously at minimum 10 hours a day before I turn off the screen at night, and many times they aren't used for hours at a time and just sit on the same screen/image. I've had no ghosting or image retention issues on any of them and all these iPads have been in use this way for years.

I’ve never had any ghost image problems on all of my devices I’ve ever had.
