Screen Sharing with Macbook

I wasn't even sure how to google or search for the question I have. I watch alot of hulu and other online content on my macbook. I was wondering if there is any way I could stream whatever I am seeing on my macbook air, directly to my TV via apple TV. I hope this makes sense. If I can only do that via jailbreaking the apple tv, I am ok with doing so.
