Screen Size

I was hoping to purchase a 20 inch new iMac but now see that the 24 is the better option.

I have taken the measurments off the site and made a template so I can see how the screen will fit into my environment. However, the template I now have is of the whole size inc the stand. Can someone who has a 24 inch screen measure the actual square section of the screen so that I can get a more accurate picture / template of how it will fit. The width is obvioulsy going to be the same at 22.4 inches but I could do with the height.
