So I set screen time passcode for some reason. I can't remember why. But using my current Apple ID and Pwd and I cannot seem to use the "Forgot Passcode" recovery option. I had been using a different email address for my Apple ID when I created the passcode possibly, but would changing the Apple ID affect my ability to change the screen time passcode? Do I need to change the Apple ID back to the old email to get into passcode recovery? Apple Chat was really no help. I don't think a restore would work as the newest backup was on my current AppleID. So would it just reset the passcode to the it's current stuck state?

And now I'm locked out each time from making new attempts for 60 min.

Yeah but what I'm not understanding is why I can't recover using my existing credentials. That doesn't make sense. Is that a quirk of screen time passcode? If you change the AppleID it won't work anymore?

But I tried my old AppleID with no success. So It's either Nuke option or use that 3rd party app. I did find that 3rd party app was suggested in a similar thread last year or so. So it seems like a legit app.
