I went into Screen Time for the first time today and I tried to set an app limit and it asked for a 4 number passcode. My normal passcode is more than 4 numbers, so I have no idea what numbers it's looking for. Furthermore, it said there were 3 passcode attempts but this was the first time I'd ever opened Screen Time and I didn't try any passcodes yet. I live alone so it's not possible that someone had my phone and was attempting to change things.

Has anyone else experienced this and possibly know what a default code might be?

Thanks.

It asked me the same thing. I just punched in four random numbers and everything was OK. Then I just started using those four numbers each time I was asked, and haven't had a problem with it. It was strange, I agree with that, but it seems to work just fine.

YMMV, so I take no responsibility of anything.
