iPad mini Screen turns dark

Good morning. A few days ago I bought a used ipad mini 2 with a problem. It works fine, it is refreshed, updated, but when the screen goes into sleep mode and I press the start button it goes dark / it gets a lighter, it is not black but nothing is visible / and I have to restart it to be able to enter again . If anyone knows what I can do I would be very grateful. Thank you

If I remember rightly, a few people reported this issue a while back. I think it was a problem with iOS 12 that caused it but specifically on the mini 2.
A solution may be to restore the ipad to iOS 11 (or firmware)
Maybe someone else will chip in to confirm or deny, but in any case, you can start by looking into that.

iOS 11 is awful on the iPad Mini 2.

<there´s no way to restore it from itunes, it´s no longer signed.
