Screen/window recording app

Need some recommendations for screen receding app. What I need is:
- ability to record specific window, not the whole screen
- ability to record audio output
- non limited recording time

Would be nice if it was free...but yeah...

I use QuickTime Player for recording training videos, which is included in macOS, and it does all the tasks you identified above.

Your best options are either QuickTime Player or OBS.

With QuickTime, if I recall correctly you will need to use a tool like Loopback to integrate system audio output into the same recording, or you could use Audio Hijack, and sync the video and audio feeds up manually when editing.

With OBS, you can record all of the above in the same app, for free, however it is way more taxing on system resources, especially if you are using an older Intel Mac.
