I know this is going to sound pretty OCD, but do you think it is possible to get a dust free application after using the device for a week or so.

Initially, my thought was to open it and immediately apply the screensaver but I'm a bit worried that I could have an issue that would require replacement and then I would have wasted 25 bucks on a screensaver.

What do you think? Thanks.
 
Yes, just use the spray bottle of cleaning fluid that comes with the protector, do it in a closed room with no airflow and you will be fine.
