I was just wondering if there is a possibility to extract pictures from the Apple standard screensavers or if there is any other way to do so.
Or is there a site where you could get those pictures?

In Finder go to /System/Library/Screen Savers. In this folder are the standard Apple screen savers. Abstract, Beach, Cosmos and Forest are the ones with pictures in them. For each, control click on them and choose 'Show Package Contents'. Then in the window that appears open Contents/Resources. In here are the images that the screensaver uses.

What's strange is that I 'lost' this folder when I upgraded to Panther, but now I have just looked and it's back!!! So this has helped me too. Thanks!
