First, Happy New Year!
Second, I've come across an issue in Screenshot. I tried recording 10 seconds of a selection of my screen.
Seemed to work but when clicked "close" the selected section remains highlighted and the rest of the screen dimmed.
Opening other apps or relaunching Finder doesn't make it go away..... the only solution I've found is a restart.
Works fine with stills, it's just video.
Also checked and the recorded shot doesn't show up anywhere and can't be found using "Find/ Created Today".
Anyone else having this issue?
