Hello you all and Happy 2017 to everybody.

On today taking a screenshot I noticed something really funny : filename starts with "2016" followed by month day and time instead of 2017... as if it was taken exactly one year ago.
To be sure about what I noticed I asked a friend of mine to do the same and he got same result. Trying at a Mini with El Capitan the filename is correct as it starts with 2017.
Did anybody else experienced this ?

Many thanks in advance, thanks

I'm evidently still on 12.2 beta 6, which I think was near final? apparently just been too lazy to udate.

Much like the battery "fix", Apple realized that by keeping the year fixed at 2016, that it would prevent any possible system problems that might arise at the year 2100.

Actually, I'd suspect that there's a glitch. Perhaps try restarting the computer so that it is forced to refresh everything in memory. And naturally, make sure that your date, time, and time zone are set correctly. And preferably set to automatically set date and time from the Internet servers.

I haven't run across such a glitch. But I don't use Sierra either.

But the built in grab program doesn't usually get much code change with OS updates.

Thank you very much flyinmac. I already did more than one restart and checked any setting that may impact to date and time is set via internet time server..
All other applications and functionality seem to be OK, it look like a mistake in filename creation. Maybe it's a little bug somewhere. It worked perfectly until few days ago and neither updates nor modifications were applied to my Mac in these last few days.
