Is there any way to set the default screenshot markup pen colour?

It always defaults to black and you’d only rarely use black to mark up with.

No, I’m pretty sure there is not. I looked around for this here and elsewhere because I pretty much always mark up in red. I’ve been lazy and haven’t done so but if you report to Apple, I will too. Seems like something like a long press on a colour -> set default wouldn’t be too much effort.
